It is also called the Devil's Triangle. This was a mystery that had kept people in awe for years. Let's know about the mystery and facts of Bermuda Triangle.

Bermuda Triangle Facts

The Bermuda Triangle is an overseas territory of Britain located in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is 1,770 kilometers south of Miami (Florida), off the east coast of the United States, and 1,350 kilometers south of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Many planes and ships have disappeared under mysterious circumstances in this area. In the last hundred years, 75 aeroplanes and more than 100 ships have disappeared here. Also, more than a thousand people have died due to drowning here.

When was Bermuda Triangle discovered?

First of all, in 1872, the ship The Mary went missing in the Bermuda Triangle, about which nothing could be found. But the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle was revealed to the world for the first time when an article about it was published in the newspaper for the first time on 16 September 1950.

Bermuda Triangle, a 5-7 lakh square kilometer part of the Atlantic Ocean. It is said that its shape is triangular, hence it was named Triangle.

Who discovered the Bermuda Triangle

Christopher Columbus was the first to give information about the Bermuda Triangle. Columbus was the first person who encounter the Bermuda Triangle. While mentioning the activities taking place in this triangle in his writings, he has written that as soon as he reached the Bermuda Triangle, his compass stopped working. He further wrote in his book that when he passed through this route in 1498, he also saw a phenomenal change in the weather, mysterious clouds covered the sky and the sea waves started rising rapidly.

What are the three points of the Bermuda Triangle?

The Bermuda Triangle is one of the most mysterious places in the world. The three points of the triangle are Bermuda (the northernmost point), followed by Puerto Rico and the Florida coast near Miami.

Major Incidents at Bermuda Triangle

Although hundreds and thousands of incidents have happened here some of the major incidents are as follows:

In August 1942, US Navy ships were in their routine area and were passing through the Bermuda Triangle when suddenly they lost contact with Radio Station. Their instruments stop working and their navigation system fails completely.

A few days later, the rescue team was moving forward following the same route to find them and the same thing happened to them, they lost contact with the radio station and the navigation system did not work.

In the year 1970, a pilot returned via the Bermuda Triangle, his name was Bruce Gernon.

Bruce Gernon said that as soon as he reached the area of Bermuda Triangle, the weather started changing rapidly, a fog of clouds appeared, and the electronic instruments installed in his ship had stopped working properly.

After about three minutes, after covering a considerable distance, he came out of that mysterious area and landed his plane.

Why do ships sink in the Bermuda Triangle?

Let's see on the facts about the incident happened at Bermuda Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle is counted among the most mysterious places in the world. It is said that a ship passing through this area disappears. Invisible forces pull him towards themselves. Dangerous winds blow over this triangle and their speed is 170 miles per hour. When a ship is hit by this wind, it loses its balance, due to which an accident occurs.

Geographical Reasons: There are extremely active volcanoes beneath the sea in the area of the Bermuda Triangle, and whenever these volcanoes erupt, poisonous gases are released. When these poisonous gases come to the surface of the sea, they mix with water and reduce their density and this is the reason why ships lose their control and have accidents.

Many believe that the Bermuda Triangle contains unique caves, high aircraft speeds, and the influence of unknown forces that can cause planes and ships to deviate from their course. But this is all a rumour. According to scientists, the reason for the mysterious events happening in the Bermuda Triangle is its geographical location.

From one perspective, scientists believe that the Bermuda Triangle's unique phenomena may be the result of natural causes, such as rapid seasonal changes, extreme climate effects, and atmospheric processes.

The unique sounds and roars in the Bermuda Triangle may be due to atmospheric processes and other natural phenomena that are still under scientific analysis.

What could be the reason for the mysterious incidents in the Bermuda Triangle?

On why this happens, scientists say, the power to pull heavy objects in the Bermuda Triangle comes from the hexagonal shape formed in the clouds. This is responsible for accidents. When ships collide with clouds and strong winds, they drag them out to sea.

These hexagon clouds have the force of a bomb exploding in the air and are accompanied by high-speed winds. These clouds and winds together collide with the ships in the water and air and they never meet again. This area spread over 5 lakh square kilometers has been infamous for the last several hundred years. According to scientists, only winds blowing at very high speeds give rise to such clouds.

These clouds are very strange and the radius of one cloud is at least 45 feet. Due to their shape, they are called hexagonal clouds.

Dragon Triangle

An incident similar to the Bermuda Triangle happened near Japan in the year 1980 when a huge ship suddenly capsized and disappeared. The rescue team that went to search for the ship was also not found later. This area was called the Bermuda Triangle of Asia. Although Japan named it the "Dragon Triangle".

If you look at the Bermuda Triangle and the Dragon Triangle on the world map, you will find that both of them are at the same latitude.
