The European Central Bank is another body of the European Union. This bank works for the European Union in the same way as the central bank of any country works for that country.

Out of 28 member countries of the European Union, only 19 member countries have accepted the Euro as their currency. Therefore, the organization of these 19 countries that have accepted the Euro as their national currency is called the 'Euro Zone'.
This judicial institution belonging to the European Union was first formed in 1952 through the Treaty of Paris. At that time this judicial institution was named ‘The Court of Justice of the European Communities’. But later in the year 2009, the name of this institution was changed to ‘The Court of Justice of the European Union – CJEU’.
